Best Coast just gets bigger and bigger!
Converse released the "Three Artists, One Song" collaboration track by Best Coast's Bethany Cosentino, Kid Cudi and Rostam of Vampire Weekend. The song features verses from Cudi, a hook by Bethany and production by Rostam. Such a rad track! You can download it from the Coverse site now.

Four months after their triumphant debut Australian tour, HEALTH return to the remix realm with Disco2, morphing last year's Get Color into an electronic masterpiece. Curated and produced by HEALTH, DISCO2 features the epic noise jams of Get Color remixed by electronic luminaries Tobacco, Crystal Castles, Salem, Javelin, and Gold Panda (among others), and leads off with the killer new HEALTH single "USA Boys", mixed by legendary producer Alan Moulder (My Bloody Valentine, Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode). HEALTH have turned the dancefloor filthy again. It's going to be a noisy winter.

Strange Powers screening in Sydney on August 4th
We're excited to be screening the Magnetic Fields' documentary Strange Powers in Sydney on Wednesday August 4th. The documentary, which took Kerthy Fix and Gail O’Hara (also of Chickfactor, Black Tambourine fans) 10 years to make, is brilliant and offers a beautiful and in-depth insight into one of modern music's most endeared songwriter Stephin Merritt. There are the requisite talking heads — including Peter Gabriel, Sarah Silverman, Carrie Brownstein, Neil Gaiman, etc. — commenting on/arguing for Stephin Merritt’s brilliance. However, the most interesting parts are listening to Merritt himself or watching him pal around with his chihuahua Irving Berlin.
