New Zealand psychgazers Surf City return with an album of sticky summer jams and fuzzy swirls and out and out dream pop blasts.

Harnessing the explorations of 2013's We Knew It Was Not Going To Be Like This into more focused packages, the group still delivers reverb-soaked joy at every turn. Adding in a return to their earlier efforts in crafting the perfect jittery motorik pop song, Jekyll Island finds the band at the height of their powers.

We’re very excited to be bringing Hinds (formerly Deers) to Australia for a handful of shows next month! The young Spanish four-piece play ramshackle surf pop fuelled by partying, cheating boyfriends and impish mischief.

Slow Club News

Slow Club Cancel January Australia Commitments Due To Illness

Slow Club regret to announce that they have had to pull all commitments for January 2015, due to illness. They recently had to cancel December UK appearances and were hoping things would improve leading up to Christmas and New Years. Unfortunately, it remains a worry and doctors have informed them not to travel.

The band are terribly sorry to let down their fans and team working on this, they were looking forward to returning to see everybody. They hope to be back in action as soon as possible and will reschedule once life returns to normal.

Ticket holders will be refunded from their point of purchase.

Popfrenzy welcome Welsh indie icon Gruff Rhys back to Australian shores next year for a selection of shows promoting his newest solo work, American Interior.

Gruff has explored many boundaries of the musical form. Through nine albums with Super Furry Animals, two with Neon Neon and handful of solo LPs, Gruff Rhys has distinctively documented the lives of others and set their stories to pop music heavily seeped in timeless melody and wide-eyed wonder.

Slow Club News

Slow Club are back in January!!!

Formed in 2005 when both Charles Watson and Rebecca Taylor were still teenagers, Slow Club will return to Australia on the back of their career-defining Complete Surrender. The songs are certainly bigger and the pair have grown from a charmingly ramshackle teenage duo bursting with potential into a shiny, fully-formed, self-confident and impressively talented band.

Cibo Matto Australian Tour starts next week!!!

Avant-garde outfit, Cibo Matto are set to play a slew of shows around the country on their maiden voyage down under. Reunited after a decade long hiatus from the band, the duo will treat Australian audiences with tracks from their newest album, Hotel Valentine.

The pair magnetised to record an LP that is packed with their unclassifiable fusion of downbeat hip hop, African and Latin jazz and Brazillian influenced sounds. After extensive collaborations in their careers with notable figures in the art world (Yoko Ono and Michael Gondry to name a few), the tour will surely be as inviting to the ears as it will be for the eyes.
